Steering Committee continues planning for 2007 fall festival

The North Wilkes Steering Committee met Thursday, August 30, at the Tignall Lunchroom. They got letters out to many vendors for the upcoming fall festival. If you want to be a part of this festival please let this committee know.

Cookbooks are going fast -- so fast in fact, that more have been ordered so that there will be enough to sell at the fall festival.

A lady from Florida wants 10 of these cookbooks and is planning on making a trip here to pick them up. She has some relation to the Adams family and people in Elberton.

The next meeting of the steering committee will be Thursday, September 20, at 6:30 p.m. If you would like to help out with the festival and become a member of the steering committee, please attend.
