Lundberg News We really enjoyed the nice weather the last few days. We got a good shower Friday. Isn't it amazing how the grass turns green so soon after it rains? The only bad thing about it, James has to cut it. Mae Dell Huff and Samille Sherrer went to Greenwood, S.C., Monday to see Elizabeth Huff at Wesley Commons Health Center. It was her 94th birthday. She was happy and seemed to be feeling good. Her son, John Fradella, his wife and daughter, and her two children joined us and we all went to Ryan's for lunch to celebrate. Mrs. Juanita Bradford and Trudy Sutherland visited Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Bradford in Thomson Wednesday. Dianne Butler of Columbia visited Mr. and Mrs. James Sherrer during the weekend. She attended services at Wilkes County Baptist Church with James Sunday morning. That evening Samille and Dianne went with him to fiveo'clock services. Mrs. Iris Hopkins joined Mr. and Mrs. Tad Hopkins of Jacksonville, Tad Hopkins III of Eatonton and John Hopkins and had lunch with Mrs. Felton Corbett Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Scott Blaine of Dahlonega came down for the weekend. Mrs. Evans Davis visited them Sunday afternoon. James Sherrer and Dianne Butler visited friends in Elberton, Carlton, Comer and Danielsville Monday. Dianne returned to Columbia Monday evening. James gets a lot of cute e-mails like this: a woman is like a teabag. You don't know how strong she is until you put her in hot water.
I had several calls and comments about my grandson having to help me with my new microwave. They all said they have the some problem. I guess I'm not the only one who feels so dumb sometimes.
