Samantha Armour honored at lingerie shower August 18

Samantha Armour, bride-elect of Will Callaway, was guest of honor at a lingerie shower on Saturday, August 18, at the home of Debra Armour, given by Mrs. Armour, Stephanie Bowen and Joyce Bowen.

Miss Armour chose for the occasion a pink top over complementing slacks. She was presented a hot pink Gerber daisy corsage.

The wedding colors of hot pink and orange were used in decorating. The dining table was covered in pink and overlaid in lace and centered with a colorful arrangement of summer flowers. From the table guests enjoyed a cake decorated with a lingerie-clad woman, all in shades of hot pink and orange, in addition to an assortment of party foods and punch.

Gifts were displayed in the living room at a table covered in hot pink and accented with candles.

The hostesses presented Miss Armour a basket filled with lingerie items, candles, a bottle of wine, and wine glasses.

Favors to the guests were little gift boxes of scented rose petals and hot pink drawstring bags filled with sweetheart wedding bells.

Joining Miss Armour and hostesses, Mrs. Armour and Miss Bowen, were the bride-elect's mother, Angela Armour; sister, Cody Armour; grandmothers, Linda Echols and Rubye Armour; Crystal Purdy, Karla Dawson, Jamie Land, Lauren Guinn, Casey Davis, Kimberly Bentley, Brittany Armour, Bettina Armour, Audra Chapman, Cissy Smith, Beth Armour and Denise Armour.
