Ashford Court residents enjoy End-of-the-Summer Cookout

Residents of Ashford Court Apartments were treated to an End-of-the- Summer Cookout and Bingo Party Wednesday, August 22, hosted by the complex management in the Ashford Court Apartments Community Room.

Everyone dined on grilled hot dogs with all the accompaniments, homemade chili, slaw and chocolate truffles for dessert after the blessing by Ed Pope Jr.

A blue and white color scheme was used in decorating.

Among those attending were Cheryl Holclase, Camille Harris, Brenda Irvin, Claudette Wright, Patricia Stewart, Jackie Cullars, Jan- ice Peters, Carolyn Findley, Eloisa Heredia, Ricky Fanning, Agnes Mc- Cord, and guests, Zora Anderson. Mayor Willie Burns, and Ed Pope Jr.

Guest, Kenneth Echols, assisted the residents in playing bingo during the afternoon.
