Simmonds graduates from USAF training at Lackland AFB
Air Force Airman Megue'l S. Simmonds has graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas.
The Airman is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Willie Brittain Jr. and the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Binns Jr. of Washington. Mrs. Brittain is the former Carla Herring of Washington.
During the six weeks of training, the airman studied the Air Force Mission Organization, military customs and courtesies; performed drills, ceremony marches, received physical training, riflemarksmanship, field training exercises, and special training in human relations.
Attending the graduation ceremony were his parents; his siblings, Tatyana, Cartavious, and Cardarious; and his grandmother, Helen Binns.
