Tells how to protect assets
Tom Greene, president of Liberty Street Investment Management in Athens, Georgia, was the guest speaker at the regular meeting of the Washington Kiwanis Club on Tuesday, September 11. Greene discussed how individuals can protect personal assets various areas and told members that a lawsuit is filed every 30 seconds in the United States. He outlined different methods individuals can employ to remove incentives for people to sue, methods to employ to put up barriers after a suit is filed, and to create favorable settlement opportunities in the event of a lawsuit. Carlton Norris (left) was program host for the day.
