Landon Neil Hamer

Funeral services for infant Landon Neil Hamer were held Friday, September 7, 2007, at the T.A. McLendon Memorial Chapel of Davenport & McLendon Mortuary Inc., Washington, with Elder Oscar Stewart Jr. officiating. Interment was in the New Springhill Baptist Church Cemetery, Philomath. He was born and passed away Friday, August 31, at Athens Regional Medical Center, Athens.

Survivors include his mother, Sharita K. Hamer of Athens; his father, Samuel N. Willis of Philomath; a brother, Jarvis Hamer, Athens; a sister, Tierney Derricotte of Athens; maternal grandparents, Frances Hamer of Peoria, Illinois, and the late Claude Hamer; paternal grandparents, Julia Willis of Philomath and the late Samuel Willis.

Davenport & McLendon Mortuary Inc. was in charge of the arrangements.
