Mary C. Reid Women on Mission of FBC meets September 4

The Mary C. Reid Women on Mission of First Baptist Church met Tuesday morning, September 4, in the conference room with Mrs. Dennis Hopkins presiding.

Mrs. Hopkins led the reading of the WMU Watchword.

Those with special needs were remembered in prayer.

Mrs. Hopkins spoke about Wanda Lee, WMU Executive Director.

Mrs. Eldon Holes led the missionary prayer calendar.

The program included a video about Melanie Hart, a Canadian Christian, who has used her musical talents to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ in the Republic of Georgia. Mrs. Hart will be in Washington September 22-23 with her testimony and music, presenting several programs.

Members present were Mrs. Mary Ann Bentley, Mrs. Lynwood Cofer, Mrs. Eldon Holes, Mrs. Dennis Hopkins, Mrs. James Johnson and Mrs. Frank Story.
