      On Monday the W-W Tiger girls softball team lost a tough game to Glascock County, 3-1. Nikki Freeman pitched four innings for the girls allowing two runs on three hits. Cayla Gilland pitched the final three innings and allowed one run.

      A Game Day Festival will be held in conjunction with the Washington- Wilkes and Lincoln County football game Friday, September 14. The festival will be held in the parking lot of Club 44 on Whitehall Street beginning at 6 p.m.
