Christian singer Melanie Hart to perform on Square Sept. 22

The girl on the bus has arrived. Melanie Hart, Christian singer/songwriter will be performing live on The Square in Washington this Saturday, September 22, 2007, from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Opening up for Melanie will be Michael Moore and Carla Thaxton Brown. Lisa Allen, a worship leader from Atlanta, will also participate. The concert is free and a love offering will be taken up to help support Melanie's ministry.

The public is invited to bring lawn chairs and be ready for a night of wonderful entertainment and great messages in song and word. Free hot dogs and drinks will be provided by First Baptist Church.
