Farmers Home Furniture cuts ribbon
Washington Mayor Willie E. Burns and Farmers Home Furniture store manager Mark Williams cuts the ribbon Saturday on the Grand Re-Opening of the newly renamed and remodeled furniture store on East Robert Toombs Avenue. The Soperton, Ga.-based company now has 159 stores in fiveSouthern states. Local employees include Brandi Everett, Julia Anderson, David Clark, and Najarian Kendrick.
