Harts tell of Georgian experiences
Jim and Melanie Hart of Hart International Music Ministries (HIMM) were the guest speakers at the regular meeting of the Washington Kiwanis Club on Tuesday, September 18. The Harts related their recent experiences in the Republic of Georgia (formerly in the USSR). As part of a federal program for democracy transition services, the Hart family was sent to Georgia where Jim worked with the parliamentary government in transition efforts. They plan to return to Georgia as missionaries when their visit here is concluded. Melanie also entertained club members in song. David Toburen (left) was the program host for the day.
