Lincolnton young people enjoy trip to Carowinds September 8

The youth of the St. Luke Baptist Church of Lincolnton enjoyed a trip to Carowinds September 8.

The children enjoyed a day of roller coaster rides and fun in the sun. For lunch they had sandwiches, chips, chicken wings, fruit cup and drinks.

On their way home the group stopped in Rock Hill, S.C., and had supper at Shoney's. Thirteen young people and seven adults made the trip.

Chaperones were Pastor and Mrs. Alvin Rivers, Shantell Henderson, April Ruff, Mildred Medlock, Hermecender Walton Crawford and Doris Hunter.
