Eta Omicron sets golf tournament as Nancy Long cancer fundraiser The Eta Omicron Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi will be sponsoring a Golf Tournament this year to raise money for the Nancy C. Long Cancer Fund. All proceeds from this annual fundraiser will remain in Wilkes County to help fellow community members. A Calcutta Dinner will be held on Saturday, October 20, at 6:30 p.m. The golf tournament will begin Sunday, October 21, at 1 p.m. Golfers' fees will be $100 per player, which includes a steak dinner for two prior to the Calcutta and all golf fees for the club. Tickets for the steak dinner will be sold for $15 to supporters who want to attend the Calcutta Dinner but are not playing in the tournament. Tickets for children's plates will be sold for $5 each. Please see any Eta Omicron member for tickets to the Calcutta Dinner. Donations of any amount are greatly appreciated and may be given to any Eta Omicron member. If you would like to make a donation in honor of or in memory of someone, their name and/or submitted photo will be featured in a slide show throughout the evening. Corporate sponsors or individuals, who wish to make a donation of $150 per hole will be named the sponsor of the hole(s) during tournament play. T-shirts are being designed for this event and will be available for sale in the coming weeks.
