W-WES students are good citizens
Washington-Wilkes Elementary School Citizens for August were (l-r) Yasmin Secundino, Lawrence Chapman, Javarrius Turner, Nariah Climons, Zaikious Jackson, Jason Gartrell, Tony Jones, Briana Smith, Aneicia Turner, Jahnay Rusher, Logan Denard, Matthew Rodriguez, Bob Norman, Madison Powell, and Tommy Fain. Each homeroom teacher in the three W-WES grades chooses a good citizen each month. Students are chosen because they demonstrate good citizen characteristics like responsiblity, respect for others, honesty, etc. Each good citizen receives a certificate,a "good citizen" pencil, and a coupon from Zaxby's.
