Tara Ingley guest of honor at bridal brunch and shower August 18

Tara Ingley of Grovetown, brideelect of Craig Chapman of Thomson, was guest of honor at a bridal brunch and shower on Saturday, August 18, given by Janet Aaron, Abby Aaron, Kelly Wilson, Kirby Wilson, Marion Hammond and Vivie Ann Wilson of Tignall and Gail Thomson of Franklin, N.C. Festivities were held in the fellowship hall of Mallorysville Baptist Church.

In honor of the occasion Miss Ingley was presented a corsage of daisies to complement her ensemble of a white blouse and light green skirt.

The guest register table, covered in white, held a budvase of pink roses with greenery in addition to the bride's book and silver pen.

Guests were seated at tables overlaid in white and scattered with deep pink rose petals and pink "love" iridescent confetti. Each table also featured a glass heart-shaped candy dish filled with silver chocolatecovered kisses, a church, and a bride and bridegroom cake topper.

A delicious brunch of chicken salad croissants, cheese straws, sandies, assorted fresh fruits and iced tea with lemon was served.

During the party guests were given pen and paper and asked to write "off the top of their head" their favorite recipe for the bride-elect.

Approximately 20 guests attended. Special guests included the bride-elect's fiancé, Craig Chapman, and his mother, Debby McCord, both of Thomson.
