Chris Hughes named Kiwanian of the Year

Chris Hughes (left) was the recipient of the Washington Kiwanis Club's most prestigious honor as he was named Kiwanian of the Year during presentation ceremonies at the club's annual banquet last Thursday.

New officersfor the club's 2007- 2008 year were installed by Lt. Governor Norm Nickelson. Pictured at right, they are (l-r) Immediate Past President Bill Steed; Nickelson; Bes Moore, president; Chris Hughes, vice-president; Lee Benner, treasurer; and Louise Maynard and Bob Simmons, directors. Secretary David Tatum and directors Rich Seibert and Lillie Crowe were unable to attend the banquet.

Bragg & Hughes provided entertainment for the evening's program held at the Lions Club building.
