Frank J. Moon Funeral services for Frank J. Moon, 79, of Lincolnton were held Wednesday, October 3, 2007, at Pine Grove United Methodist Church with Rev. T.G. Hall and Rev. Elton Lawson officiating. Interment was in Palmer Cemetery. He died Monday, October 1, in Wills Memorial Hospital, Washington. Mr. Moon was the son of the late Hurd and Mattie Palmer Moon. He was a retired textile worker and a member of the Pine Grove United Methodist Church. Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Sarah Frances Moon; two brothers, George Moon, Washington, and Douglas Moon, Dalton; three grandchildren, Robby Moon and wife Angie, Mitchell Moon and wife Jessica, and Eric Moon. Pallbearers included Randy Echols, Earnest Moon, Eric Moon, Eugene Moon, Robby Moon, and Mitchell Moon.
Rees Funeral Home of Lincolnton was in charge of arrangements.
