Washington Personal Mention

Steve and Eleanor Blackmon joined Phillip, Carol and Bradley Blackmon of Columbus in Athens to see Bradley play with the Calvary High School soccer team of Columbus in a match with Monsignor Dunovan High School. Others joining the family were Myra Blackmon, Rich, Sarah and Amelia Johnson of Athens. After the game, all enjoyed a dinner party.

Harris and Glenda Blackmon have returned from a week at Garden City, S.C. vacationing with their children and grandson, Edward, Becky and Trey Blackmon of Newnan and Wayne and Susan Hisaw of Martinez.

lMr. and Mrs. David McClearen and Mrs. W.Y. Johnson of Crawfordville were in Rutledge Saturday to attend the outdoor marriage of their niece, Angela Adams, to Clay Stewart, both of Madison, at Hard Labor Creek.

Baron Callaway of Orangeburg, S.C., visited recently with his mother, Mrs. Mit Callaway.

Kermit Hocutt and Debbie Lindsey visited Sunday in Charlotte, N.C., with Wayne, Blake, Gracie and Tommy Hocutt.

Diana Blackburn has returned from an extended visit with her family, Charles, Preston, Liza and Sarah Blackburn in Richmond, Va.

Lynn Young and daughter Lily of Thomson spent Friday night with Pat Neimann.

Betty Reese joined her family and friends from the Beulah community for several days in Gatlinburg, Tenn., where they attended a Christian Conference.
