Mt. Zion Methodist sets revival, dinner for October 7-10

REV. CAREY
Mt. Zion United Methodist Church at 2200 Wrightsboro Road in Washington will be holding revival services October 7-10 at 7 p.m. each evening. A potluck dinner will be held each evening at 6 p.m.

Rev. Landon T. Carey, an active member of the National Association of United Methodist Evangelists, will be bringing the message each night. Rev. Carey has served as a pastor, evangelist, Bible teacher, and music director in churches and at camp meetings. In addition to his service here in the United States he has ministered in Kenya, Africa, and Bolivia, South America.

"He is a gifted and highly respected evangelist who is acclaimed professionally as well as by the congregations he has served," says Rev. Fran Connell, the current pastor of Mt. Zion.

There will be a wide variety of music each evening, drawing on talented individuals both here in the community and in the surrounding area.

"Come hear God's message spoken and sung in a way that will touch your lives," says Rev. Connell.
