Joe Barnett to do low country boil at Mule Day Sat. Joe Barnett Jr. will be cooking his famous Cajun Style Shrimp Boil at Mule Day Saturday at Callaway Plantation. The event will benefit Georgia TASC and will cost $10 per plate, including the drink of choice. Barnett's recipe includes jumbo shrimp, new potatoes, fresh corn, and spicy sausage simmered in a Cajun broth and served with Creole cocktail sauce, remoulade, and hot ranch dipping sauces. Serving starts at 11 a.m. on the grounds of the Brick House at the Plantation.
To-go orders will be available or you may eat on the grounds.
