Andie Moody feted at bridal shower Saturday, Sept. 15

Andie Moody, bride-elect of Marc Bridges, was honored at a miscellaneous shower on Saturday afternoon, September 15, in the fellowship hall of Phillips Mill Baptist Church. Hostesses for the occasion were Amy Thomas of Eatonton, Amanda McAvoy, Sherri McAvoy and the ladies of Phillips Mill Baptist Church.

Miss Moody was lovely in a cream sweater and black skirt complemented by a corsage of yellow and orange daisies with yellow roses provided by Nancy Sisson.

A fall theme was used in decorat- ing with flowers in autumn colors.

Delicious party foods, provided by the women of the church, were enjoyed with punch.

Approximately 48 guests attended. Special guests included the bride-elect's mother, Becky Mann of Washington; grandmother, Ruby Tench and aunt, Bonnie Sanders, both of Clarkesville; the prospective bridegroom's mother, Tricia Bridges, and grandmother, Agnes Bridges, both of Washington; his grandmother, Virginia Spears of Canton; and aunt, Ginn Schmeelk of Cumming.
