Advance tickets now on sale
The popular annual Rotary Pancake Supper will be held on Friday, November 2, at the Washington-Wilkes Elementary School cafeteria beginning at 5 p.m. and tickets are now available. In fact, you don't really need a ticket - all you have to do is show up and get your ticket at the door. The menu is simple but fabulous - homemade pancakes grilled to perfection from the Rotary Club's secret recipe, tasty sausage, milk, tea, and plenty of butter and syrup. Host/server Dr. Lester Johnston (left, above) encourages all to eat their fillbefore the W-W Tiger football game against Greene County. Take out boxes will also be available and, as always, the Rotarians will be furnishing meals to all residents in Wilkes County nursing homes and personal care homes.
