Favors speaks to HSTE tudents
Monday, October 15, Marilyn Favors spoke with the Healthcare Science Technology Education (HSTE) class at Washington-Wilkes Comprehensive High School. Favors is the Continuing Education Coordinator for Foothills Area Health Education Center (AHEC). She gave the students up-to-date information about nationwide healthcare career opportunities and highlighted the critical need areas in the state of Georgia. She also urged students to seek a post-secondary education and encouraged them to form a "Plan of Action" to meet their post-secondary education goals.
