She carried a basket of rose petals. Myles Tate of Hattiesburg, Miss., nephew of the bride, was the ring bearer. Given in marriage by her parents, the bride was stunning in her Oleg Cassini strapless ivory satin gown overlaid with sheer chiffon and inlaid with filigree pearls and Swarovski crystals. The altar-length train finished her gown. Her cream elbow-length veil edged in silver stitching fell from her silver miniature tiara composed of Swarovski crystals. She carried a cluster bouquet in jewel tones of orange, purple and pink roses and calla lilies entwined with greenery. For her daughter's wedding Mrs. Ingley wore a sleeveless anklelength iridescent berry dress and sheer chiffon jacket complemented by an orchid corsage. Mrs. McCord, the bridegroom's mother, chose a shimmering mocha ankle-length dress and matching jacket with a jeweled neckline. Her corsage was two cream roses. Tables were covered in white and were decorated with chocolate brown candles on cream platters surrounded by coffee beans and floral centerpieces matching the bride's bouquet. Guests enjoyed heavy hors d'oeuvres that included shrimp on skewers, fruit, vegetables and dips, chicken fingers, trays of ham, turkey, and roast beef for sandwiches and crab dip. Centering a silver plateau was the bride's cake, a four-tiered hexagon confection in cream icing with a chocolate brown fondant band around the base of each layer. It was adorned with a door step of fresh flowers. The bridegroom's cake was a red, black and white super "G" Georgia cake. The couple left in their wedding attire.
