Gresham-Saggus Women on Mission group meets Oct. 4
The Rhetta Gresham-Terry Bennett Saggus Women on Mission of the First Baptist Church met in the Jesse Mercer Chapel on Thursday, October 4.

Helen Miller opened the meeting in prayer in the absence of Gladys Reese, facilitator.

During the business meeting several mission action projects were discussed.

Members voted to make special offerings to state missions and the malaria nets project.

Mrs. Miller presented the program titled "The Least of These" and told about the church under the bridge ministry in Waco, Tex. She was assisted by Mrs. Johnson and Gail Craddock.

Mrs. Johnson offered the missionary prayer calendar and led in prayer for the missionaries and those with special needs.

Present were Mabel Johnson, June Chafin,Helen Miller and Gail Craddock.
