Jenny Dove guest of honor at baby shower October 20

Jenny Dove was honored at a baby shower on Saturday, October 20, given by Lou Heard, Amy Echols, Stacy Kay and Genna Grimaud of Washington and Alison Maquire of Thomson.

The festivities were held at the Georgia Baptist Association Mission Center on North Jefferson Street.

Upon her arrival Mrs. Dove was welcomed and presented a corsage of daisies.

The refreshment table held an arrangement of pink carnations and pink snapdragons accented with a stork. Baby shower confetti was scattered about the table that was covered with a white cloth.

The delicious assortment of party foods included breakfast casserole, ham biscuits, grits, muffins,fresh vegetables with Ranch dip and juice.

The hostesses presented Mrs. Dove a Babies R Us gift card.

Forty-six guests were invited. Special guests attending included prospective grandmothers, Dean Sisson of Washington and Connie Dove of Tignall; great-grandmothers, Blanche Sisson and Lanette Drinkard of Washington; and Gladys Fleming of Elberton, and aunts, Julie Driggers and Jeri Hucke.
