Alcohol-related crimes fillroundup of October law enforcement activities

In a roundup of law enforcement action during the past month, the following arrests were recorded in Wilkes County in October:

Nikita M. Martin, 32, of Washington, was arrested October 31 by Wilkes County deputies and charged with deposit account fraud. She was released on payment of a cash bond.

Jerry Jerome Wingfield, 26, of Washington, was arrested October 29 by Wilkes County deputies and charged with burglary and with simple battery. He was held on a parole violation.

Gregory Gladmon, 44, of Washington, was arrested October 29 by a Georgia State Patrol trooper and charged with driving on a revoked or suspended license and with a seat belt violation. He was released on $2,650 bond.

Ronell W. Young, 20, of Washington, was arrested October 28 by a Georgia State Patrol trooper and charged with driving under the influence, endangering a child under 14; and with a driver's license charge. He was released on $4,000 bond.

Kayla Hampton, 24, of Washington, was arrested October 28 by Washington Police and charged with driving under the influence; driving on a revoked or suspended license; and with a headlight charge. She was released on $3,450 bond.

Quincy Curry, 28, of Washington, was arrested October 26 by Washington Police and charged with giving a false name; driving on a revoked or suspended license; operating a vehicle without a current plate; and with altering license plates. He was held for probation.

John Lee Lewis, 46, of Crawfordville, was arrested October 24 by Washington Police and charged with felony possession, manufacture, or distribution of a controlled substance; and with driving on a revoked or suspended license. He was held on $28,000 bond.

Cynthia McCarty, 41, of Washington, was arrested October 23 by Washington Police and charged with driving under the influence; driving on a revoked or suspended license; and with a headlight charge. She was released on bond.

George Dunn, 77, of Rayle, was arrested October 24 by Wilkes County deputies and charged with violating a driving permit restriction. He was released on $1,500 bond.

Chad Edwin Dunn, 33, of Wilkes County, was arrested October 20 by Washington Police and charged with driving on a revoked or suspended license; giving a false name to law enforcement; and with a headlight charge. He was held on a state probation violation.

Cordney Lovell Williams, 32, of Wilkes County was arrested October 20 by Washington Police and charged with driving on a revoked or suspended license; giving a false name to law enforcement; and with a traffic charge. He was released on $4,500 bond.

Devin D. Johnson, 21, of Comer, Ga., was arrested October 19 by a Georgia State Patrol trooper and charged with possession, manufacture, or distribution of a controlled substance; speeding, and a window tint charge. He was released on $6,000 bond.

Roy Eugene Palmer, 41, of Rayle, was arrested October 21 by a Georgia State Patrol trooper and charged with driving under the influence, driving on a revoked or suspended license; and driving without proof of insurance. He was held on $6,500 bond.

Kevin Frost, 26, of Louisville, Ga., was arrested October 19 by Wilkes County deputies and charged with violating the county ordinance on disorderly conduct. He was released on payment of $135 cash bond.

Nathan Windsel Martin, 22, of Gainesville, Ga., was arrested October 20 by a Georgia State Patrol trooper and charged with driving under the influence. He was released on $666 bond.

Michael Robert Simon, 22, of Roswell, Ga., was arrested October 19 by a Georgia State Patrol trooper and charged with driving on a revoked or suspended license and with speeding. He was released on $870 bond.

George Edmond Brown, 23, of Lincolnton, was arrested October 20 by a Georgia State Patrol trooper and charged with driving under the influence and with driving on a revoked or suspended license. He was released on $3,000 bond.

Preston Chance Long, 19, of Wilkes County was arrested October 20 by a Georgia State Patrol trooper and charged with underage possession of alcohol and with misdemeanor possession of marijuana. He was released on $2,000 bond.

Cassandra Dunn Evans, 44, of Rayle, was arrested October 18 by Wilkes County deputies and charged with forgery in the first degree. She was released on $5,000 bond.

Rollin Neal Jones, 53, of Tignall, was arrested October 18 by Wilkes County deputies on a child-support warrant.

Fabian Lemuel Dye, 19, of Washington, was arrested October 20 by Wilkes County deputies and charged with two counts of felony possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance. He was held on $75,000 bond.

Brenda McLendon, 47, of Tignall, was arrested October 16 by Wilkes County deputies and charged with deposit account fraud. She was released on $297 bond.

Charles E. Weaver, 39, of Rayle, was arrested October 20 by Wilkes County deputies and charged with interference with government property. He was released on $1,500 bond.

Timothy Martin Williams, 47, of Jefferson, Ga., was arrested October 16 by Wilkes County deputies and charged with driving on a suspended or revoked license. He was released on $1,365 bond.

Jimmy Evans, 48, of Rayle, was arrested October 15 by Washington Police and charged with forgery in the first degree. He was released on $8,000 bond.

Jesse Carl Martin, 50, of Hephzibah, Ga., was arrested October 13 by Wilkes County deputies and charged with possession, manufacturing or distribution of a controlled substance; driving on a suspended or revoked license; and with a window tint violation. He was held on $27,000 bond.

Oscar A Acosta-Alfaro, 22, of Augusta, was arrested October 14 by Wilkes County deputies and charged with driving on a suspended or revoked license; driving with a suspended registration; and with a tint violation. He was released on $1,500 bond..

Pedro Gutierrez, 43, of Wilkes County, was arrested October 14 by Wilkes County deputies and charged with violating a drivers license requirement and with a headlight charge. He was released on $394 bond.

Angela Felicia Wynn, 25, of Wilkes County, was arrested October 10 by Washington Police and charged with felony possession, manufacturing, or distribution of a controlled substance. She was released on $25,000 bond.

Vonta Cobb, 33, of Washington, was arrested October 10 by Wilkes County deputies and charged with felony aggravated battery; and with interference with custody. He is being held on $15,000 bond.

Choice Nash, 41, of Wilkes County, was arrested October 12 by Wilkes County deputies and charged with driving under the influence; driving without a current plate; and with contempt of municipal court. He was held on $2,176 bond.

Larry Barksdale, 51, of Tignall, was arrested October 12 by a Georgia State Patrol trooper and charged with driving on a suspended or revoked license; and with operating a vehicle without a current plate. He was released on $2,000 bond.

Latasha Kendricks, 23, of Rayle, was arrested October 12 by Washington Police and charged with driving on a suspended or revoked license and with an equipment violation. She was released on $1,850 bond.

Constantine Leo Oneil, 41, of Dearing, Ga., was arrested October 9 by a Georgia State Patrol trooper and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs (second offense). He was released on $3,000.

Darrell Wynn Jr., 25, of Washington, was arrested October 8 by Washington Police and charged with possession of marijuana. He was released on $1,500 bond.

Wesley Bernard Norman, 52, of Tignall, was arrested October 9 by Washington Police and charged with driving under the influence and with a traffic charge. He was held on $1,900 bond.

Anthony Bruce Crago, 44, of Washington, was arrested October 3 by Wilkes County deputies and charged with possession, manufacture, or distribution of a controlled substance and with a traffic charge. He was released on $25,000 bond.

Charles Beard, 61, of Lincolnton, was arrested October 6 by Washington Police and charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon; driving on a suspended or revoked license; driving with no proof of insurance; and driving without a current license plate. No bond was noted.

David Odis Fields Jr., 28, of Hull, Ga. was arrested October 6 by Wilkes County deputies and charged with making terroristic threats or acts; felony obstruction or hindering law officers; and interference with government property. He was held on $35,000 bond.

Marty Darrell Lawson, 45, of Augusta, was arrested October 5 by Washington Police and charged with driving on a suspended or revoked license; driving on a limited permit; misdemeanor possession of marijuana; and speeding. He was released on $1,762 cash bond.

Willie T. Danner, 52, of Washington, was arrested October 6 by Wilkes County deputies and charged with misdemeanor possession of marijuana. He was released on $1,500 bond. He was also arrested on October 5 and charged with furnishing alcohol to a person under 21. He was released on $3,000 bond on that charge.

Mitchell Bufford, 37, of Tignall, was arrested October 7 by a Georgia State Patrol trooper and charged with driving under the influence. He was released on $1,500 bond.

John Henry Dowson, 34, of Tignall, was arrested October 7 by a Georgia State Patrol trooper and charged with driving under the influence and with driving on a suspended or revoked license (2nd offense). He was released on $4,300 bond.

Ricardo V. Owens, 23, of Washington, was arrested October 7 by Washington Police and charged with trespassing. He was held on $216 bond.

Linda G. Hogan, 46, of Washington, was arrested October 5 by Wilkes County deputies and charged with furnishing alcohol to a person under 21. She was released on $3,000 bond.

Dennis Ray Banks, 42, of Tignall, was arrested October 5 by Wilkes County deputies and charged with felony possession, manufacturing, or distribution of a controlled substance; driving on a suspended or revoked license; no proof of insurance; no current license plate. He was held on $28,500 bond.

Henry Lee Gresham Jr., 20, of Tignall, was arrested October 3 by Wilkes County deputies and charged with possession of alcohol by a person under 21. He was released on $3,000 bond.

Diana Brooke Dobbs, 19, of Washington, was arrested October 3 by Wilkes County deputies and charged with furnishing to, purchase of, or possession of alcohol by a person under 21. She was released on $3,000 bond.

Betty O. Standard, 77, of Wilkes County, was arrested October 3 by Wilkes County deputies and charged with furnishing to, purchase of, or possession of alcohol by a person under 21. She was released on $3,000 bond.

Rajnikant Patel, 59, of Washington, was arrested October 2 by Wilkes County deputies and charged with furnishing to, purchase of, or possession of alcohol by a person under 21. He was released on $3,000 bond.

Penelope Oshea Climons, 38, of Washington, was arrested October 2 by Wilkes County deputies and charged with furnishing to, purchase of, or possession of alcohol by a person under 21. She was released on $3,000 bond.

Azeb A. Msgunn, 36, of Washington, was arrested October 3 by Wilkes County deputies and charged with furnishing to, purchase of, or possession of alcohol by a person under 21. She was released on $3,000 bond.

Steven Frazzetta, 32, of Wilmington, N.C., was arrested October 3 by a Georgia State Patrol trooper and charged with driving on a suspended or revoked license, and with speeding. He was released on payment of $842 cash bond.

Charles Booker, 57, of Wilkes County, was arrested October 3 by Wilkes County deputies and charged with violation of a license requirement. He was held on $1,500 bond.

Chao Lin, 35, of Washington, was arrested October 3 by a Georgia State Patrol trooper and charged with driving under the influence and with a traffic charge. He was released on $821 cash bond.

Fernando Vasquez, 52, of Washington, was arrested October 1 by Wilkes County deputies and charged with driving without a current plate and driving without proof of insurance. He was released on $850 cash fine.
