Young volunteer at Toombs House says 'It's my job'

Every week since then, he has come to volunteer with a good attitude, with enthusiasm, and for at least one hour each time. His only absences have been due to illness. sweeping the public entryway,

walkway, porches and inside steps; such

cleaning the acrylic cases; dusting debt

baseboards, and window ledges. He has also been helping to record the type and number of insects in the

bug traps' and replaces the traps as needed at the site. Thomas has a deep and abiding respect for the site and remains a gifted steward of this most precious cultural resource.
