Ray F. Reese

Funeral services for Ray F. Reese, 78, of Washingtoin will be held Thursday, November 8, 2007, at 2:30 p.m., at Hopkins Funeral Home with Rev. Clyde Davis officiating. Interment will follow in Resethaven Cemetery. He died Sunday, November 4, at Greene-Point Health Care Center in Union Point.

Mr. Reese was a native of Jefferson County and was the son of the late Reuben Reese and Dessie McTier Reese. He had lived in Wilkes County for 39 years and was a member of New Covenant Church. He was a retired manager in the hotel/motel business.

Survivors include his wife, Glady R. Reese, Washington; a sister, Ann Allen, Indiana; and four brothers, James Reese, Augusta, C.S. Reese, Kentucky, Robert Reese and Milton Reese.

Pallbearers included Felton Beasley, Glen Kent, Joey Young, Elton Beasley, Larry Kent, and Henry Anderson.

Hopkins Funeral Home of Washington is in charge of arrangements.
