Eliza Lou Easley

Funeral services for Eliza Lou Easley, 70, of Hickory Hill Drive, Washington, were held Saturday, November 11, 2007, at the Shady Grove Baptist Church, Tignall, with Rev. R.C. Lockhart officiating. Burial was in the Shady Grove Cemetery. She died Tuesday, October 30, in Wills Memorial Hospital, Washington.

Mrs. Easley was a native of Wilkes County, having been born in Tignall and was the daughter of the late Les and Garnett Easley. She was a faithful church member and worker at the Shady Grove Baptist Church where she served on the usher board and the kitchen committee.

Survivors include four sisters, Essie King, Washington, Eva Mae Brown, Bronx, N.Y., Eunice Willis, Atlanta, and Carmeal Franklin, Philadelphia; two brothers, Rev. Henry Easley, Tignall, and Lem Easley, Bronx, N.Y.
