Episcopal Bazaar, annual luncheon set for Sat. Dec. 1

The annual Episcopal Bazaar and Luncheon will be held Saturday, December 1.

Crafts and baked goods and candy will go on sale in the Country Kitchen at 10:30 a.m. under the direction of Betty Slaton, Anna Gunter, and Catherine Hessert. Wilkes County Artichoke Mustard Pickle will be available, as always. There is a rumor that the artichoke cooks are above to retire, so fans should be sure to get a jar this year.

Luncheon will be served at 11:30 in the Commons Room. Presented buffet style, there will be country ham, turkey and dressing, gravy, cranberry sauce, sweet potatoes, and assorted vegetables and salads. Homemade desserts will be highlighted by Steve Blackmon's caramel cake and Mimi Henderson's coconut cake, as well as other specialties.

Cost of the luncheon remains at $8.00. Parking is available behind the Parish House, and the public is urged to attend this traditional event.
