Optimist Club sells N.C. Frazer firChristmas trees

The Optimist Club of Washington has begun its annual Christmas tree sale.

Beautiful Frazer Fir trees are available at C&K Services (the former Boat Hill Marine property behind Movie Gallery) on East Robert Toombs Avenue.

Optimist Club member Kyle Brown made his annual pilgrimage to Cashiers, N.C., Tuesday, November 20, to pick up the trees.

Christmas trees range in height from 5 to 9 1/2 ft. Hours for tree sales are 4-6 p.m., Monday through Friday; 9 a.m.-5 p.m., Saturday; and 2-5 p.m., Sunday.

Trees can also be purchased from Optimist Club member Barry Rogers at Otter Creek Gardens on the Tignall Road.

Proceeds from the Christmas tree sale go to support the many youth programs which the Washington Optimist Club supports annually.
