Kettle Creek Chapter NSDAR meets on November 19 at Woman's Club

Ashley Turner Barnett presented the program for members of the Kettle Creek Chapter NSDAR meeting Monday, November 19, at the Washington Woman's Club.

Mrs. Barnett, introduced by Rhonda Keen, spoke on the topic, "Showcasing Your Community." Prior to her presentation, Joanne Pollock presided and welcomed visitors, Carolyn Reynolds, Inez McWhorter, Margaret Norris, and Lisa Luken. After the program, Mrs. Keen read the National Defense message and the business meeting followed. Oleta McAvoy reminded members to send recipes for the DAR cookbook to Betty Slaton and reported the proceeds from the sales will go to the Meadow Garden Maintenance Fund.
