Top Tiger wrestlers finish high at Patriot Classic

Three young Tiger wrestlers were among the top winners at the Junior Patriot Classic held at Oglethorpe County High School just before Thanksgiving on November 17.
David Martin took first place in his weight class (135 pounds) as did Will Lawson at 145 pounds. Alex Hackney finished second in his class at 185 pounds.
Also scoring wins in the tournament were Terrence Walton, Dennis Hagan, Tremain Luke, Tyrell Norman, and Andrew White.
On Tuesday, November 20, the Tiger varsity took part in a tri-meet with Evans and Cross Creek.
Wrestling in eight weight classes due to the absence of football players, the Tigers scored as follows:

The Tigers travel to Hiawassee for the King of the
Mountains Tournament on Friday and Saturday. The tournament is a 16-team
tournament with teams from North Georgia and Western North Carolina.
