'A Christmas Carol' to be presented Saturday at Robert Toombs House

Volunteer Jenny Lindsey is working on one of the props for the upcoming presentation of "A Christmas Carol" at the Robert Toombs House in Washington-Wilkes.
The staff of the Robert Toombs House State Historic Site, Washington, will have an ongoing presentation of Charles Dickens' "A Christmas Carol" during the Christmas Tour of Homes Saturday, December 8.

This favorite Victorian story by Dickens will highlight his characters from the life of Ebenezer Scrooge in scenes in every room of the historic old Toombs house.

The ghosts of Christmas Past, Present, and Future will present a haunting performance as they guide visitors through the house.

The presentation will run continuously from 10 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. The house is located at 216 E. Robert Toombs Avenue.
