On Thanksgiving Day, Tracy and Denise Armour, Justin, Ethan, and Jackson fixed Thanksgiving dinner for family members and friends including Manuel Wheatley, Marian Poss. Talitha Hopkins, Rusty Callaway, Audra Chapman, Taylor Echols, Dwayne and Debbie Callaway and Grayson, Angie Gresham, Scott and Angie Wheatley, Jim and Elaine Wheatley, Brandon Wheatley, Brittany Armour, Jonathon Wheatley, April Smith, Danny and Traci Bussey, Brett and Ashleigh. .Peggy Echols and Johnny Adams went over to Stephens Thanksgiving Day for dinner with Sybil Hayes and other family members. .Mr. and Mrs. Carl Sisson of Madison, Ala., returned home last Monday after spending Thanksgiving holidays with her parents in Monroe and his mother in Rayle. Mildred Sisson enjoyed having family with her for Thankstgiving Day. She also enjoyed being treated Saturday to a barbecue venison meal and watching the Georgia-Georgia Tech game with the younger generation at the Gray Grit Hunt Club's nearby hunting shack with Carl, Richie and Lisa McAvoy. Mr. and Mrs. Gene Winfrey visited with them on Sunday afternoon. .Eight members of the Lunch and Learn Club went to Ivery's in Thomson Wednesday for fellowship and a delicious Thanksgiving meal. The ones who didn't go were missed. Those going were Sudie Kennedy, Mablean Sherrer, Mildred Sisson, Doris Smathers, Christine Wheatley, Peggy Echols, Martha Hall, and Bonnie Boatwright. A prayer of thanks and blessing was given by Doris Smathers. .Our prayers are for Linda Stevens who has been very ill. .J.W. and Bonnie Boatwright went over to Comer to the home of Bonnie's classmate, Carole Morgan, for the 1956 Class of Oglethorpe County annual Christmas party Saturday night. Others attending along with Carole were Billy and Nell Bradshaw White, George and Alice Slay Paul, Morris and Dare Paul Smith, Ray and Jean O'Kelly Sanders, Turner and Flora McGarity, Minan Blanchard Maxwell, and her brother, Johnny Blanchard, and Ann Capes Graham. .Avery Hall spent Friday night with Clyde Whittington and Zachery Frankel while Sandy was at their daughter Kim's home helping Neil with the children while their mother, Kim, was in the hospital in Athens for several days. .Peggy Echols and Margaret Conner of Washington enjoyed the day in Athens Thursday. .Bonnie Boatwright enjoyed visiting Mary Burt in Washington Friday afternoon. .Avery Hall spent Saturday night with James and Joyce Bowen. .Bill and Hope Delaney and Haley spent Sunday with Peggy Echols and Johnny Adams. .Rev. and Mrs. Ralph Arnold of Winterville visited their aunt, Ruby Arnold, one day. .Buck and Linda Echols' Sunday company was Greg and Angela Armour, Cody and Hunter, Scott and Sissy Smith, J.T. and Abby, and Richard and Lou Heard, Mattie and Hank. .Troy and Shirley Chafin had about 25 family members and friends to eat Thanksgiving Day dinner and supper. .Prayers continue for Linda Stevens, Henry Anderson, Sonny Chafin,Kim Frankel, Joyce Bowen, Bonnie Boatwright, Peggy Walker, Thelma Favor, Chris Charping, Kathryn Padgett, Joe Charping, Ed and Velma Crook, Edward Waller, Kenneth Mann, Douglas Howard, Joyce Sifre, Mike Woodall, Gene and Sara Lamar, Gary Rogers, Pete Poss, Joyce Blackwell, Roberta Roper, Pete Hardy, Tom Bufford, Joe Bufford, Corrie Maxwell, Jimmy Coxwell, Clyde Sales, Diane Bailey, Randy Callaway, Hartrell Pate, P.J.
