Tignall's annual Christmas parade shows holiday spirit

E'Liza Booker, Miss Wilkes Toddler; and Lillian Booker, Miss Wilkes Petite, had fun in the Tignall Christmas Parade.
Tignall had a festive time Sunday at the annual Christmas parade.

The North Wilkes Steering Committee appreciates all the entries in Tignall's Christmas parade. There were 10 floats, old cars, decorated golf carts, and a few four-wheelers; Charles Young with his horse drawn covered wagon; the Washington-Wilkes Comprehensive High School Marching Band; the Washington-Wilkes Homecoming Queen Brittnay Turner; Mr. and Mrs. Santa Claus (Brenda Danner and Mac McGahee);

The Northeasat Georgia Eagles Motorcycle Club of Elberton; Preacher Dale Fincher on his big tricycle; Shriners of both Elberton and Washington; Georgia Power; the firedepartment, and the Toddler Miss Wilkes County, E'Liza Booker; and the Petite Miss Wilkes County, Lillian Booker.
Mrs. Santa Claus (Brenda Danner) "Fishing You a Merry Christmas."
The Fishing Creek Baptist Church float was a popular attraction.
