Gretchen Lamar honored at twins shower on Nov. 11

Gretchen Lamar of Tignall was feted at a twin baby shower on Sunday afternoon, November 11, at the home of Paula Denard. Hostesses for the occasion with Mrs. Denard were Crystal Wheatley, Kimberly Bentley and Julie Yancey.

Mrs. Lamar was presented a corsage of "twin" rubber duckies.

After greeting Mrs. Lamar, guests were invited to enjoy cheese ball with crackers, grapes and strawberries with fruit dip, cheese straws, sausage balls, pimento cheese sandwiches, cake squares and punch, all served amid scatterings of decorative rubber duckies.

Scattered rubber duckies continued the theme on the gift table also decorated with a "Thank Heavens for Little Boys" frame which displayed the shower invitation.

The hostess gave Mrs. Lamar a Babies R Us $100 gift certificatepresented in a "Twice As Nice" picture frame.

Forty-fiveguests were invited. Special guests included prospective grandmothers, Faye Lamar and Jane Robb, and great-grandmother, Edna Lamar.
