Applications for Brown Bag program being accepted Dec. 6- 7

Applications for the year 2008 Brown Bag program sponsored by the Golden Harvest Food Bank will be taken at the Wilkes County Senior Center, 108 Marshall St., Washington, from 9 a.m. until 11:30 a.m., Thursday and Friday, December 6 and 7.

Applicants must be at least 60 years of age and a full-time resident of Wilkes County. They must have proof of income for each person in the household.

The number of bags allocated for Wilkes County is limited and an application does not guarantee the receipt of a brown bag.
