Niemann wins top award

Pat Niemann, Wilkes County Alzheimer's Association support group leader, was awarded the Volunteer Caregiver of the Year Award by the CSRA CareNet and the Rosalyn Carter Institute. Niemann was recognized at the Caregiver Luncheon held at the Julian Smith Casino in Augusta on Wednesday, November 14, where Rep. Quincy Murphy presented the award. The organizations congratulated Niemann and thanked her " for all that you do to support the Alzheimer's Association and the support you have provided to so many family caregivers in Wilkes County."
