Tigers off to 4-0 start after beating Greenbrier Tuesday

AKIEMO S COLEMAN FIGHTS TOWARD THE HOO P The W-W Tigers are off to a 4-0 start for the 2007 season.
Tuesday's 67-52 win over Greenbrier was the second time this season that the W-W Tigers have beaten the AAA team and it boosted W-W to an eyebrow-raising 4-0 start for 2007.

The current week's games also include wins over Lakeside, 77-61, andTaliaferro, 60-50.

"The Lakeside game was our best game all year," Head Coach Don Keiser said, "We came out on all cylinders and had four players in double figures."

Those players were Lucious Stewart with 23 points, Jarekus Bowman with 16, Remardo King with 14, and Dede Stewart with 11.

Keiser was less happy with the team's performance against Taliaferro but attributed its "ugliness" to the fact that it was their first back-toback game. In that contest, Lucious Stewart scored 21 and Bowman was the only other Tiger to hit double figures with 13.

Due to timing and press deadlines, details from the Greenbrier game will be reported next week. The Tigers next game will be against Warren County on Friday, December 7.
