Armour brothers compete in 34th NAILE, the world's largest purebred livestock show

Ethan Armour exhibited the Chianina Senior Heifer Calf Reserve Division Champion at the North American International Livestock Exposition in Louisville, Kentucky.
Ethan and Jackson Armour, sons of Tracy and Denise Armour of Rayle, participated in the 34th annual North American International Livestock Exposition (NAILE) at the Kentucky Exposition Center in Louisville, Kentucky.

This is the world's largest purebred livestock show and was held November 3-16. During the twoweek run, the event hosts nearly 21,000 livestock entries from 48 contiguous states. There are 10 livestock show divisions.

Jackson and Ethan participated in the beef cattle division with their heifers. The purebred beef and sheep events are the largest in the world.

Ethan exhibited the Chianina Senior Heifer Calf Reserve Division Champion, TR September at the 2007 American Chianina Association National Show at NAILE. He placed second in his class and went on to win Reserve Division Champion. He was awarded an embroidered laptop carrying case, and a purple rosette ribbon and monetary award.

Jackson Armour exhibited the Chianina Early Junior Heifer Calf Division Champion at the North American International Livestock Exposition in Louisville, Kentucky.
Jackson exhibited the Chianina Early Junior Heifer Calf Division Champion, TR MS Toni 2CA, at the 2007 ACA Junior National Show. He won his class and then was named division champion. He was awarded a blue ribbon, an embroidered Ozark Trail armchair, a purple champion rosette, and monetary award.

Ethan is a senior at Washington- Wilkes Comprehensive High School and Jackson is a fifth grader at Washington-Wilkes Elementary School.

Attending during the beef show November 9-11 with Ethan and Jackson were their parents; their brother Justin; Audra Chapman, and FFA Adviser Nathan Heaton.
