Three bandsmen try for district honor band; Pope to play bar. sax

Christina Albertson, Shakeya Hulin, and John Pope auditioned Saturday, December 8, for the Tenth District High School Honor Band.

John was selected as the first and only baritone saxophone player in the honor band. Honor band activities will be held the same weekend in February as the middle school band.

John also scored high enough on his audition to qualify him for the second round of All-State Band auditions.
