Wilkes blood drive is November's best for Shepeard Center

TO THE EDITOR:

We have something to be proud of that we want to share with Wilkes Countians.

Of all of the blood drives conducted by Shepeard Community Blood Center in November, Washington- Wilkes was at the top. High school donors saved 531 lives; and regular donors saved 162 lives. Fantastic!

Both drives gave credits to Christopher Charping.

Blood donors are silent. The recipient may never know the name of the donor, but will never forget the gift of life.

Our next drive is February 15. Plan now to join the list of local donor heroes.
