One stuck truck
A lost Iowa truck driver gently backs his rig back up Robert Toombs Avenue at Spring Street as a Washington Police officerholds traffic for him. Luckily, this driver discovered that his truck was too long to fitdown Spring Street inches before he actually collided with the often-damaged building on the left. This, police say, is why there is a truck route that takes oversized trucks around the city, rather than right smack through the middle. Drivers, however, are often given directions from dispatchers or at convenience stores that send them directly into town rather than around.
