Washington Area Faith in Action Inc. showed the best representation of any contracting agency and Linda Echols of Washington-Wilkes and her committee were recognized for arranging the event for more than 200 guests.

The meeting focused on an informal orientation of council members and guests toward getting acquainted with various senior program interests and activities in the CSRA. Those attending included local and state government elected officials, consumers, resource providers, and agency staff persons.

Jeanette Cummings, AAA Director, opened the meeting with a period for questions and answers among attendees. Clara Chance, chairman of the advisory council, introduced Ms. Georgia-Lina and others for recognition and entertainment. This included a choreographed performance by East Augusta Middle School students.

Following lunch several door prizes which were provided by local organizations were distributed. Expressions of appreciation for another productive year of work from both Clara Chance and Jeanette Cummings closed the meeting.
