Bentleys host party for First Baptist Sunday school classes

W.C. and Cheryl Bentley entertained at a Christmas party at their home on Thursday evening, December 13.

Guests were members of the Vannie Spratlin-TEL, Volunteer, and Jesse Mercer Sunday school classes of the First Baptist Church and their guests.

Guests arrived at the Bentley home to finda myriad of decorated Christmas trees, garlands, wreaths, collections of Santas and Christmas pictures of the Bentley grandchildren. The kitchen window sill featured the Christmas village.

Guests enjoyed a buffet of heavy hors d'oeuvres and time of fellowship.

Each guest was presented a jar of homemade pepper jelly as a party favor.

Attending with the Bentleys were Pat and Andrew Grimaud, Sam Clary and Flora Ann McGill, Anne Hardy, Emily Thornton, Mabel Johnson, Gail Craddock, Edythe McCall, Mary Ann Bentley, Mary Burt, Betty Reese, Patsy Winn, Lila Edwards, Margaret Connor, Ruth Holes, Douglas and Jerri Ann Stewart, Ann Gage, Mary Hubbard and Chris and Tara Townsend, Garston and Henry.
