Bethel UMC members celebrate annual Christmas party

Family and friends of Bethel United Methodist Church celebrated their annual Christmas party on Saturday, December 15, at the church.

The fellowship hall was decorated in the festive Christmas scene and filled with love, fellowship and delicious party foods prepared by the ladies.

An old tradition of bringing and receiving gifts was enjoyed.

Those attending were Pastor Fran Connell, Tommy McAvoy, Charles and Amelia Chafin,Bill and Ann Chafin, Winnie Sue Thompson, Marvin and Genie Weaver, Charles and Cindy Weaver and Christian, Candy Callaway and Caleb, Dawn Power, Dell James, David and Belle Eberhardt, Virgil and Barbara Wolter and granddaughter, Alexis Gioia of Vidalia.

Other guests included Robert (Peewee) and Cathy Armour and Jack and Tommie Lou Heard.

Bethel welcomes everyone to be a part of their church family and join them in worship. Sunday Bible study is at 10 a.m. and the worship service begins at 11 a.m.
