Eagles' Wings House of Prayer is new church in Crawfordville

A new church has been established in Taliaferro County.

Services at Eagles' Wings House of Prayer are being held in the American Legion Building on Highway 278 in Crawfordville.

The congregation is a non-denominational, full gospel holiness church. Services are held each Sunday with Sunday School beginning at 10 a.m.; worship service at 11 a.m.; and Sunday night services at 6 p.m.

A watch night service will be held on New Year's Eve at 8 p.m. "That Same Spirit" from Commerce will be singing as well as local talent. Visiting ministers will include Rev. Bill Trotter, Clarkesville; Rev. Roland Arrowood, Danielsville; Rev. Dwayne Beck, Aiken, S.C., and others.

There will be an old-fashioned service of singing, testifying, preaching and praying in the New Year. Finger foods will also be served.

Pastor Brenda Lunsford Vandiver and the congregation invite everyone to attend. "If you do not have a regular church home; if you are not satisfied where you are, or if you need to fillin, we are here for you," the pastor said.
